At the start of the year, health officials in Wuhan China reported that a number of people had been diagnosed with a dry cough, fever and fatigue. A good number of cases went on to develop viral pneumonia, with most of these cases turning fatal. What Are The Common CoronaVirus Symptoms?

The symptoms appear within 14 days of exposure to the virus. They include:

  • Difficulty breathing in severe cases.

Where Did It Coronavirus Come From?

In order to understand this virus fully, it’s important to trace its Origins. COVID-19 belongs to a group of virus called CoronaViruses. A number of these viruses exist and some of them cause diseases in humans. One popular example is the SARS virus which infected 8000 people and Killed around 774 people worldwide in 2002.

Initially, Chinese health authorities traced the COVID-19 virus to a seafood market in Wuhan that sold meat from wild animals all around the world. They were all kept in cages which were stacked in squeezed spaces.

The authorities believed that these conditions provided a conducive environment for the COVID-19 to jump from one animal to another, mutating in the process until it finally found its way to customers who were consuming or came into contact the infected meat.

If you have been following CoronaVirus News, then you have probably noticed that more theories have since come up regarding its origin. None of them has been confirmed officially though.
